A brisk, slight tannic entry leads to an off-dry full-bodied palate with ripe melon, fruit punch & dried flowers. Finishes with a slightly warming fade of peppercorns & apricot skin. La Diablada achieves what its name implies, the Spiciness of the devil & the sweetness of an Angel. By using the first grape pressing & only the heart of the distillate, each bottle of La Diablada contains 20-lbs of grape giving it a Sensuous feel. The 4 eau-de-vies are distilled once to proof & allowed to reach naturally its 40% ABV without adding any water & by resting them over a 2 year period. This ensures that we do not dilute the sumptuous bouquet of the grapes.
