Snowdonia - Walks From Carneddau To Cadir Idris

Over 20 walks through the mountains and valleys of Snowdonia, second-largest of Britain's National Parks, are described in this beautiful book by one of Britain's outstanding outdoor writers and photographers. Jerry Rawson has explored all the summits and cwms of Snowdonia in all seasons and all weathers to produce over 200 stunning images to illustrate the walks in an area which attracts over 10 million visitors from all over Britain every year. But few of these visitors will have seen the area in this detail, as Rawson seeks out the unfrequented ways which makes Snowdonia such a wonderland for the hillwalker. The walks range from the forbidding heights of the hightest summits of Yr Wyddfa and the Glyders, to the slyvan beauty of Bala and Cwm Bychan in the Rhinogs. Jerry Rawson was
the photograper for Snowdonia Moods, published by Halsgrove in 2004 and the author and photographer for the critically-acclaimed Walking the Moors and Dales of the Peak District, and Discover the Yorkshire Dales - Walks from the Howgills to Nidderdale. A regular contributor to many outdoor magazines, he lives in Buxton.
