Product Description

Welcome to the greatest extreme sport of the 16th Century. A deadly medieval contest is brought right up to date when a maverick group of Americans compete for top honours in the most dangerous sport in history: jousting. This is not a historical reconstruction, but a full-contact sport, joust as it was 500 years ago but with a 21st century twist, as chainmail & plate-metal armour are replaced by high-tech, state of the art suits. Follow a team of veteran jousters as they train a group of amateurs to take part in the ultimate extreme sport, with each episode following their preparations before culminating in a series of one-on-one jousts. Every tournament is a test of skill & strength that requires nerves of steel. May the best man win.
