The prototype of this aircraft first flew in 1935, later being enhanced to model E which was more powerful & better armed. The plane came into service as a German fighter plane as one of their backbones for World War 2. By the summer of 1940, they had over 500 of these aircrafts in service in the attack against Great Britain. It had competently fought in Poland & France but met its match in England against the RAF’s Spitfire which proved the superior aircraft.
