- 20 years ago Thomas Stolpman discovered this limestone outcrop in California's Central Coast, an environment which allows them to produce both Syrah & Roussane. This Syrah is beautifully restrained with some soft spices; nutmeg, pepper & cinnamon. On the palate it is very elegant, with perfumed black fruits & a hint of vanilla. This is a Syrah reminiscent of the Northern Rhone.
