One of the last functioning plantations in Barbados, with a view to becoming self-sustaining in order to promote the history & tradition for future generations. As such production is processed in small batches by pot still distillation. The finished rum is hand bottled, unblended straight from the cask and placed in a decanter with an etching of the Abbey estate, corked with mahogany as tribute to the first planting
