These trees only start bearing fruit after more than 30 years, and their berries are harvested by hand by the Reisetbauer team. The resulting liqueur, made from more than 10 kilograms of those berries, has fine aromas of marzipan, nougat and savoury spices, followed by a creamy mouthfeel, flavours of nutty spiciness and a little tartness in the finish.
