- Some of the finest whisky that we have tasted, the single malt in this bottle is Macallan 1938 that is utterly amazing old whisky, very autumnal, typical pre war style with honey, heather, stewed fruit, dried fruits, citrus orange. Bottled in the mid 1980s this whisky has been aged for around 45 years.
