- This 40-year-old single grain whisky from Port Dundas distillery was made in 1978, & matured in a single refill hogshead until it was bottled in December 2018 for Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular series. The nose offers, sweet, spiced aromas of spun sugar, cinnamon & oak spice, & the palate brings notes of sherbet lemons, vanilla & sweet cereal.
