- A 1989 Mortlach single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, bottled in November 2019 as part of its Xtra Old Particular series, after three decades in a single refill hogshead. Big, meaty aromas open on the nose, followed by marmalade, creamy cereals & warm spices. The palate offers notes of molasses, freshly-baked sponge cake, lively spices & sweet fudge.
