Fruit aromas of orange, grapefruit, dark chocolate, dry oak spice, poached pear and figs fill the nose. - The youngest release in The Macallan Red series has been matured in sherry seasoned oak casks for 40 years before being bottled in 2020. Fruit aromas of orange, grapefruit, dark chocolate, dry oak spice, poached pear & figs fill the nose. The palate offers notes of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon & vanilla, as well as sweet malt, figs & delicate wisps of wood smoke that linger in the finish.
