70cl / 40% - All but gone from the world, this 1926 Lemorton Grande Reserve is a superior treat. Made with particularly heavy pear influence – even for the Domfrontais appellation in which it's produced – expect a particularly rich Calvados with an elegant bouquet. Dominated at first by a light oak dryness which splinters into bright shards of juicy apple and tropical fruit, floral notes lift things throughout and settle into a long, gently spiced and surprisingly sweet finish.
