In Lochside’s heyday it produced single grain and single malt whiskies but eventually stopped production in 1992. This release spent 41 years in a refill sherry hogshead, which endowed the single malt with an intensely fruity but well-balanced character. You can expect notes of ripe mango, gingerbread spice and crème de peche, underpinned by toasted nuts.
