Glenrothes 1979 / Bot.1994 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
70cl / 43% / Distillery Bottling - Berry Brothers & Rudd had long used the malt produced at The Glenrothes in their best-selling Blended Whisky Cutty Sark. In 1993, the 1979 was released as the first vintage single malt. This is a typical example of the high proportion of sherry casks used in the range with a richness and complexity that belies its age.
