Dumbarton 1986 / 32 Year Old / Xtra Old Particular Single Whisky

70cl / 61.1% / Douglas Laing - Dumbarton grain distillery closed in 2002 and has since been demolished. Fortunately, Douglas Laing have been looking after casks from the distillery and we can still taste its spirit. This was distilled in August 1986 and aged for 32 years in a single refill barrel before bottling in August 2018, just after its birthday. The years have allowed the whisky to bloom, pulling together chocolate and summer fruit as well as classic vanilla and spice notes.
