Cragganmore 1999 / 20 Year Old / Special Releases 2020 Speyside Whisky

70cl / 55.8% / Distillery Bottling - A dark, sweet and lightly smoky from Cragganmore, its entry in the Diageo Special Releases 2020 line-up. There's no actual smoke used during the making of this whisky, but there's a definitely a charred note running through it, thanks to the use of freshly charred hogsheads in its maturation. However, it's appeared in the whisky, the char compliments the classic Cragganmore character.
