75cl / 13% - Carlos Lucas created Magnum Vinhos in 2012 so still a relatively new winery based in the Dao region of Portugal. This wine has blueberry, red plum and a hint of spice on the nose. On the palate plenty of juicy ripe fruit comes through with cinnamon and nutmeg supporting the dark hedgerow fruits. The wine has plenty of weight but without being too over blown. Try this with suckling pig.
