Caol Ila 2010 / 8 Year Old / First Editions Islay Whisky
70cl / 59.7% / Hunter Laing - Made in 2010 at Caol Ila distillery, this Islay single malt has been matured in a single refill hogshead for eight years, before being bottled by Hunter Laing in 2019, as part of its First Editions series. Sweet and smoky aromas of burning seaweed, peat and honey fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of rhubarb crumbled and seaweed, as well as lingering flavours of smoky peat.
