- A punchy Caol Ila bottled by Gordon & Mac Phail for the Connoisseurs Choice range. Distilled in 2000, matured for 17 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel & bottled on 19 September 2018. It's a well-balanced dram, with the fruity notes that Caol Ila develops after longer ageing complementing big, meaty peat smoke, slightly mellowed after 17 years in wood.
