70cl / 46.2% / Hunter Laing
- Made at Bowmore distillery in 1988, this Islay single malt spent three decades in a single refill bourbon hogshead, before being bottle by Hunter Laing for the 2019 release of its Kinship Collection. Sweet & smoky aromas fill the nose, as well as hints of vanilla & pears. The palate offers notes of salty, smoky driftwood, floral peat & sweet barley, before developing into notes of vanilla, honey, peat & rich, earthy peat.
