50cl / 59.1% / Elixir Distillers - Bn9 is a marriage of fours American oak hogsheads from Bunnahabhain distillery that were filled with peated whisky in 2014 and matured for more than seven years before being bottled as part of the Elements of Islay series. Aromas of caramel, Belgian chocolate seashells, hot malted milk, biscuits, baked apples and tobacco leaf fill the nose, complemented by notes of smoky bacon, dried figs, brine, bonfire smoke, dark-chocolate orange, thyme and honey-roast parsnips throughout the palate.
