He talks of the grape being similar to Nebbiolo or Northern Rhone Syrah and on this wine we see why. On the nose raspberry and black cherry with a hint of nutmeg and some leafy black tea notes. The palate is plump and round with banana, cranberry and a dollop of vanilla ice-cream. Try this with a rabbit or vegetable lasagna.
