Aultmore 2009 / 12 Year Old / Old Particular Speyside Whisky
70cl / 48.4% / Douglas Laing - A 2009 Aultmore single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in a single hogshead for 12 years, before being bottled in December 2021 as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of vanilla, ripe bananas and oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of maple syrup, barley, honey, buttery pastry and oak throughout the palate.
