Oude Molen XO Cape Brandy

75cl / 40% - The South Africans have been producing brandy since they have been producing wine, dating back to 1672. This is Oude Molen’s flagship brandy and the one that is brought out at the end of a good meal. Aged for a minimum of 10 years in oak barrels, this XO contains liquid much older than that. The fruit is pared back with notes of apple tatin and dried pineapple, while the oak is well integrated and gives hints of cedar wood, caramel and sweet spice.
