Older expressions, however, are a totally different matter, as evidenced by this masterpiece. The product of truly inspired cask selection and blending, atypically for a Speyside there is little or no sherry influence here, allowing the elegant, floral, slightly smoky distillery character to shine through. Made in batches of around 600 bottles per year.
