50cl / 57.7% / Distillery Bottling - One of a pair of 1989-vintage drams from the Glenallachie 50th anniversary collection, overseen by new distillery owner Billy Walker, the first whiskies released since he took over. This half of the pair was bottled from a sherry butt, and you can tell – stacks of sherry cask cask character layers on top of aromatic fruit, gentle spice and the slightest hint of struck match.
