Tobermory Tobermory Distillery was established by John Sinclair in 1798 & is situated in the harbour town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull off the west coast of Scotl&. Tobermory Distillery is a Scottish Islands malt whisky distillery & is equipped with four stills fitted with unusually twisted lyne arms to create a light & fruity spirit. The distillery produces an unpeated single malt whisky called Tobermory & a peated single malt whisky called Ledaig. Tobermory Distillery welcomes visitors at its visitor centre which offers tours around Tobermory Distillery. The nose is pleasantly plump, with some yellow fruit emerging in advance of mint & delicate peat-smoke. The palate offers light, buttery toast notes, finishing in a soft easy-going manner, as a little spice cuts in.
