To celebrate 175 years of production at Springbank distillery from 1828 to 2003, & look forward to the next 175 years! One of 12, 000 bottles. Springbank Springbank Distillery was established in 1828 in Campbeltown at the foot of the Mull of Kintyre on the west coast of Scotl&. Springbank produces three different types of single malt whisky Hazelburn which is non-peated & triple distilled, Longrow which is highly peated & double distilled & Springbank which is medium peated & partially triple distilled having been distilled two & a half times. Barley is spread across traditional malting floors at Springbank where it germinates & is then dried on the perforated floor of the malt kiln. Springbank Distillery welcomes visitors & offers distillery tours. No tasting notes at present.
