Glengoyne Glengoyne Distillery was established as Burnfoot of Drumgoyne Distillery in 1833 by George Connel in Scotland’s Highland whisky region although its warehouses rest across the road in the Lowland whisky region. All the malt is dried by hot air & so all Glengoyne whisky is unpeated & on site maturation is in sherry & bourbon casks in addition to some Japanese & Scottish oak casks.
