Single cask 11239. Distilled August 1988 & bottled March 2011. 22-year old cask strength Glenburgie from the award winning Duncan Taylor, Rare Auld series. 233 numbered bottles. Glenburgie Glenburgie Distillery was established near Forres in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region by John Paul in 1829. Equipped with two pot stills until 1958 when two Lomond stills were installed & two malt whiskies were produced, Glenburgie from the pot stills & Glencraig from the Lomond stills. The Lomond stills were removed in 1981 & replaced with two pot stills. Glenburgie Distillery is now producing malt whisky from pot six stills. Nose: Creamy vanilla fudge, cherries & rich honey. Taste: Citrus lemon & lime heaven with sweet shortbread & chocolate orange notes. Finish: Citrus notes continue to build, fresh cut wood & pine notes.
