
Specially bottled for Historic Scotland to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Union of the Crowns 1603-2003. The Union of the Crowns refers to the accession of James VI, King of Scots, to the throne of England in March 1603, thus uniting Scotland & England under one monarch. Dallas Dhu Dallas Dhu Distillery was established by Alexander Edward in 1898 & designed by Charles C. Doug. Dallas Dhu is situated near Dallas in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region but closed as a working malt whisky distillery in 1983. Now in the care of Historic Scotland & re-opened as a distillery museum where visitors are welcomed & distillery tours are available. Dallas Dhu has retained most of its original equipment including two round wooden worm tubs & is a participant in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. No tasting notes at present.
