Cardhu Distillery was officially established at Cardhu farm in 1824 & was equipped with two small stills. Output was quite small until a new purpose built distillery was constructed just up the road & equipped with four stills. Cardhu Distillery is a malt whisky distillery situated in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region & a contributor to Diagio’s Johnnie Walker blended scotch. Visitors are welcomed at the Cardhu Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available & the distillery is a participant in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
