Matured for a final period in small 19th century style quarter casks. This is a delicious, peated & young Speyside whisky. Ardmore William Teacher’s son Adam Teacher established Ardmore Distillery in 1898 in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. He selected a site to the south of Huntly & next door to Kennethmont station on the Great North of Scotland Railway line & a plentiful supply of soft highland water from springs on the hills to the north & peat to h&. Whilst Ardmore Distillery continues to contribute a large proportion of its malt whisky to blends the Ardmore single malt range, including Ardmore Traditional, is slowly increasing. Full rich, with unique Highland peat-smoke notes. Earthy richness tempered by subtle sweetness.
