Scapa Scapa Distillery was established by John Townsend in 1885 close by the shore of Scapa Bay in Scapa Flow near Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands. Scapa Distillery one of only a very few Scottish distilleries to have retained some Corten steel washbacks & is equipped with just two stills including a novel wash still which incorporates the shell of an old Lomond still. In contrast to the other Kirkwall distillery Scapa Distillery produces only unpeated single malt whisky. Nose: Floral notes initially, with a burst of ripe exotic fruits such as Kiwi.
