This day bed with its three railed sides can double up as an additional seating area when space is an issue. The bed is made from a solid metal frame & features a posture sprung solid wooden slats. If purchased with the addition of the trundle bed the this easily fits under the day bed when not in use, & can be slid out (courtesy of the well-placed wheels) & can be popped up to provide an extra bed when needed for those guests...hey presto a double bed. This bed frame fits a standard 2ft 6 or 3ft single size mattress depending on the size of the frame purchased.
