FAQs How long does my adoption last? Your adoption lasts for 12 months from the date of registration. How long does it take for me to receive my certificate & meerkat photograph? These will be dispatched within 28 days from the date of registration. Occasionally, factors outside of our control may affect delivery times. Can I visit the meerkats? Meerkat Magic aims for as little impact as possible on the meerkat nature reserve so that they remain true to their natural behaviour. They encourage an Observe & Conserve policy & the animals are completely wild. The meerkat reserve is located in Oudtshoorn, West Cape, South Africa & it welcomes guests for tours at certain times of the year. Does my gift entitle me to anything else? Yes!
