Chenin Blanc is an ideal match for seafood & fish dishes. This one has so much depth of flavour that it will alos pair well to creamy pasta, mushrooms & cheese of the area such as comte. Winemaker Nicolas Joly practices biodynamic winemaking techniques & the vines from where the grapes for this wine are sourced have been certified since 1984. He believes great wine is made from great grapes & so making the best of nature porodces the best results. Minimal intervention is carried out in the winery so the final wine is a true expression of this small appellation. This is a an amazingly expressive wine with heaps of character. It is dry & elegant yet has a good weight & complex layers of flavour. Notes of apricot, melon & pineapple blend effortlessly with fresh acicity & delicate floral notes.
