Product Description

Deliciously fresh & youthful, with a lovely tropical fruit character, this wine would make a nice aperitif to kick off a meal or to sip at while cooking dinner. With food, this is a really versatile wine & would suit large summer salads (with chicken, fish or goat's cheese) & simple grilled white meats (from firm fish to chicken & pork). This wine is from the Curico Valley in Chileands central zone, where rich alluvial soils combine with a Mediterranean climate to help produce grapes of characteristic freshness. Careful vineyard management ensures that the exposure & irrigation of the fruit is carefully monitored so a balance is maintained between leaf development & ripeness. In colour the wine is pale, with greenish-yellow tints. In the glass it bursts forth with an abundant bouquet of pineapple, lychee & passionfruit aromas, with balancing minerally notes behind. In the mouth it tastes fresher than the nose suggests, with a nice gooseberry vivacity, good acid balance & a light, youthful finish. Delicious.
