This lovely delicate light rose is ideal to enjoy as an aperitif or at lunch time in the summer. With food however the subtle notes will be enhanced so pair it with Asian influenced seafood, tapas meats or light tomato based dishes. The Morin family take great care of their vines & aim to produce wine that is typical of the region yet with individual expression of the domaine. For this rose they use predominantly Groleau but there is also some Cabernet Franc in the blend too. They plant different grapes in different spoils to really enhance their unique qualities. This delightful pale pink, almost salmon-coloured, rose is ideal as an aperitif as it has a real delicacy of style. It has a vivacious freshness & subtle notes of strawberries, raspberries & cherry & a hint of sweetness that rounds off the palate nicely.
