The table itself is 1.35 metres in diameter & hand crafted in genuine reclaimed teak. The grain looks fabulous, particularly with the dark wash applied. The reclaimed teak table is lovingly crafted using mortice & tenon, reinforced with teak dowels. The joints won’t fail over time or develop a ‘wobble’ as is the case with other mass produced furniture on the market today. The real feature piece is the chunky & ornate pedestal leg which simply oozes rustic character. The wood is chosen & cut by hand making each table bespoke & ensuring the highest quality every time. The table top is super-smooth along its entirety almost as if the joints aren’t there if you close your eyes & run your hands across it. Both the table & chairs are sold separately if you want to go totally bespoke. Ecolene synthetic outdoor rattan weave is well known as being some of the best quality rattan fibre on the market today. This is wrapped round a sturdy aluminium frame that’s rust free & will remain so for the duration of the sets life. The feet of the chairs are further protected with robust plastic caps. The weave is spun right to the bottom of the frame giving the chairs, & the overall feel of the table set, a lovely majestic feel.
