Santolina Side Chair … A simple addition to any dining set … Hand crafted from solid teak the Santolina Side Chair has a simplistic design that’s built for comfort in an unobtrusive way. The slightly contoured seat & angled back rest are typical of the majority of the chairs we sell & are an essential part of the comfort factor in any dining chair. The teak is finished to the highest standards & looks great with that familiar honey-coloured lustre throughout. Unlike more mass produced items of furniture our chairs are made using mortice & tenon joints reinforced by teak dowels for a construction that won’t fail with regular use. It’s no secret that teak is by far the best timber for use with outdoor furniture due to the fact that it’s naturally protected with a high oil content & very dense grain that prevents the encroach of rot & likelihood of cracking or splitting.
