Offering a lot of protection in a slim lightweight package so you don't get the 'nappy' effect & look! With Force Fields new Isolator armour technology has enabled them introduce new armour shapes on the hips & buttocks, & cut the thickness down from the previous 17mm foam to a remarkable 8mm, whilst still offering the same CE level 1 certification. The Forcefield Sport Short has been designed specifically for snowboarders & skiers to protect the lower back, buttocks, coccyx & hips, whilst being as comfortable to wear as possible. The high energy absorbing, super low profile Isolator CE approved layer armour is fitted into a pocket in the rear of the shorts & pockets at the hips, allowing it to be removed so the shorts can be machine washed for maximum hygiene. The Sport Short is a next-to-skin, technical base layer, constructed using DRI-M fibres which has a greater diffusive area than standard man-made or cotton fibres, allowing high levels of breathability, wicking & fast drying. It is also being anti-bacterial for freshness, even after multiple days on the slopes. During exercise, the unique shape of the DRI-M fibres means it acts like a fan extracting hot & wet air away from the body & replacing it with cool & fresh air to help maintain core body temperatures in both cold & hot conditions. Fastened at the waist by a draw cord & with gripper elastic at the legs, the shorts offer a comfortable & practical alternative to wearing separate base layers & armour. KEY
