The Rome Crux is an awesome all mountain freestyle bindings with excellent fit & comfort & packed with some clever tech. Using Romes excellent asym wrap chassis the Crux has two points of connection on the inside of the binding & just one on the outer. This gives more side to side movement for a more surfy feel to allow more tweak & comfort while still having excellent toe to heel response. This also lightens the binding significantly for a really lightweight feel. Rome add their minimalist strap to the Crux which is an oversized PU strap which uses no stitching or fabric for increased durability in a lightweight form. This is a on oversized 3d formed strap which offers a bigger surface area to spread the pressure & eliminate pressure points in the binding resulting in a very comfortable strap. The toe cap does not get left out here either again made form uretheane with a really stripped back look. The Asym Crux highback not only looks great but it also has very clever asymetric flex windows to give a flex pattern which is matched to the shape of your lower calf & leg to avoid pinch points & give you more support where you need it. To round the crux off Rome added their auto straps which hold the ankle strap open & keep it out of the way to avoid treading on the strap when you are putting your foot into the binding. Already proving a popular binding with us here at The Board Basement these are a future classic in the making!
