The Arbor Roundhouse RX Snowboard is part of The Arbor Roots collection. This snowboard is one of the most environmentally friendly boards on the market. The Roundhouse is without a doubt one of the most beautiful organic looking snowboard out there, with it's vintage style graphics & wooden details. Some say it is not the best board for jibbing, but great for hammering it around on or off piste. The Roundhouse design has been part of the Arbor snowboards line up since day one, delivering all-mountain, ride it all addiction & performance with a twin directional shape. The Arbor Roundhouse is now available in two versions the Roundhouse CX (cambered) & the Roundhouse RX (rockered) both offering that classic look, shape, response & feel that we have come to expect from this Arbor legend. Based on the Element RX the Roundhouse has been created a little wider to accommodate bigger footed snowboarders. Arbor Roundhouse RX Wide Rocker Snowboard 2012 The Roundhouse is the wide version of the Element RX & was built for the riders with bigger feet to give the extra support needed. Ride-it-all addiction of a growing rocker community is nicely fed with the Arbor Roundhouse RX Snowboard; which delivers rootsy style & high-end performance on mountain; in the park; & well beyond; the quintessential do everything design. Make no mistake; rocker represents a completely different approach to snowboard design. It requires a total rethink of long held ideas of how flex; materials; & shape interact & affect performance. In response; Arbor developed The System to address the new physics of riding rocker. In our opinion; the award winning '' System'' has proven itself to be the best rocker design yet offered. - Arbor’s wood Power Ply works like a 3rd layer of fiberglass
- during construction resin locks the dense natural fibers in place; creating a composite layer that structurally enhances a board for added return & enhanced durability; while allowing for important weight reduction. The Power Ply technology allows Arbor to reduce our overall reliance on chemically treated fiberglass & petroleum-based resin by up to 20%. The Power Ply is produced using sustainably sourced; natural wood veneer. The variance of real wood grain creates a one-of-a-kind look on each board made with this technology. BIO-FILM
- Every board in the Arbor line is now built with an ultra thin protective top foil made using 30% caster bean based bio-plastic. This top sheet protects the board from damage caused by loose bindings; out-of-control skiers; or other unforeseen impacts.
