Nandina Domestica A great specimen for borders or patio containers! Despite originating in the Far East, Nandina Domestica is a beautiful hardy shrub that thrives in the UK climate too. Commonly known as Heavenly Bamboo, Nandina Domestica has a bamboo-like habit, growing upright with violet lanceolate leaves. During autumn, it boasts bright red berries & produces a fantastic show-stopping display. In fact, Nandina are the Far East equivalent of Christmas Holly! This is best grown as a specimen plant for full effect, as this spectacular shrub really brings every garden to life. It looks amazing in amongst borders or as a statement in patio containers. Nandina Domestica is elegant & strong, & will attract attention from any visitor to your garden!
