Rowan are a familiar sight growing in hedgerows & gardens, also known as Mountain Ash is a vigorous grower & once established it can be clipped on regular basis to encourage it to thicken & grow dense making it ideal for hedges! White flowers appear in spring turning to berries, bright red-orange by autumn while the leaves start to fall, a variety of birds will feast in the hedge giving it additional interest.
