Rosa rugosa performs well as hedging is a strong, hardy, rose shrub that will grow & spread into dense thickets making it perfect as a security hedge as the thorns will act as a deterrent. Ramanas Rose produces an abundance of pink flowers in spring to cover the hedge, giving off a sweet fragrance, these will form into bright red hips that attract a wild range of birds.
