A heavy-cropping, large violet-blue skinned, yellow-fleshed plum raised at the start of the 20th century in Hertfordshire. For a long time it was one of the latest ripening plums & provided fresh plums when many other varieties had finished. Fantastic for both eating fresh & cooking, it can be found in most old gardens & orchards throughout Engl&. Supplied in a 9 litre pot bag.
