A beautiful loosely tufted, low-growing grass producing dark green leaves that are tinged with violet, & attractive arching brown bottle-brush flower heads. Prefers a sunny position & a well-drained soil. Flowers July-September. Needs winter protection in colder areas. Height 70cm.
