A sensational clump-forming grass which produces gently arching fountains of grey-green foliage (which takes on buttery shades in autumn) together with tall, fluffy flower heads that are silvery-grey with pinkish-violet tints. Ideal for the middle of the border, it is best planted in full sun as it tends to flop over more in shade. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers June-August. Height 1.5m. These easy-to-grow, hardy plants will bring a light, airy feel to your garden, providing structure & contrast to other flowers, together with a dynamic movement as they ripple in the slightest breeze. & don't be tempted to cut them down in autumn
